Every month, we send out a newsletter to people who sign up for our newsletter. We tell them about our upcoming and new releases, of course, but we also talk about things we think are important that you might not hear elsewhere. Such as the need for delivery drivers to get commercial auto insurance, or how to be a health advocate for your elderly parents and relatives. These stories are drawn from our lives, so you may find that some of our concerns are yours as well.

That doesn’t sound very marketable.

True. But we have a need to share, whether it’s stories about famous writers, the best way to run your writing business, and the stories we need to tell rather than what’s popular at the moment.

But you give away books, too, right? Other authors do.

We don’t. Give them away I mean. If there’s a special deal or a discounted book, we’ll tell you (and they’ll end by the time the newsletter is posted here; so subscribe!). But don’t expect free books. We work hard on these books. Some of them have been in production for years. You don’t give away your work, right?

You say it’s a monthly newsletter, but there’s some big gaps in time there.

Our dear founder (that would be Bill) was inconsistent in writing the newsletter. It was another chore and it didn’t get done on a regular basis when so many other, more important things needed to get done, such as actually earning some money to keep us afloat.

I (that would be me, Teresa) took over the newsletter back in late 2018. I was more consistent and managed to produce a newsletter on a bimonthly basis throughout 2019. Towards the end of 2019, I decided to communicate more often with our newsletter subscribers because hey, you are generous enough to subscribe so I need to give you regular content. Thus, you now receive a newsletter on a monthly basis (more or less).

Can I ask you to answer a question in the newsletter?

Sure! We even set up a special email account for you at newsletter (at) this website address. If you have questions about the newsletter or if you want to say anything about our operation, let us know!.

When do you put up old newsletters here?

We put a newsletter up here about a month after they’re published, or when the new one goes out.

Think of it as a little incentive to subscribe so you get the latest news, hot off the press from Peschel Press.

Either way, enjoy this visit to the archives and thanks for coming to our website and thank you for buying and enjoying our books. We’re very proud of them.
