Meet “Tea & Murder:” A New Agatha Christie Podcast
We discovered a new Agatha Christie podcast!
It’s called “Tea & Murder: An Agatha Christie Podcast” and it is hosted by Rebecca Thandi Norman.
The show has only one full episode (plus a trailer and a “here’s who I am and what this show’s about” episodes), and the structure is part interview and part book club.
According to Norman, each episode has as a guest someone inspired by Christie or working in a field related to Christie. They talk about their encounters with Christie on the page, then move on to a discussion of the book in question. Norman than announces the book to be discussed on the next podcast, so that listeners can if they choose read the book in anticipation.
We’re halfway through the first episode, which features Stuart Turton, the author of “The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle” and “The Devil and the Dark Water,” and they’re discussing “And Then There Were None.”
The next episode, which should appear on Dec. 5, will discuss “Death on the Nile.”
“Tea & Murder” can be found on Spotify, and at these sites:
* Acast
* The podcast also has an Instagram page. And Rebecca Thandi Norman can also be found on Instagram.
There are not that many podcasts devoted to discussing the Queen of Crime, apart from ours and “All About Agatha,” so were happy to welcome a new Agatha Christie podcast to the scene.
