Two Hershey Festivals Coming Up
Bill and Teresa, the pair behind Peschel Press, are going to set up their booth at two Hershey festivals coming up.
First, we’ll be at Hershey ArtFest at the Cocoa Beanery, across from the hospital, on Saturday, May 11, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is the new home for the festival, and with the coming West End housing project and expansion at the hospital, we expect this to grow in coming years.
Then, we’ll be in downtown Hershey the next weekend for the Art Show and CultureFest. This will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and be held in ChocolateTown Square Park and on the streets surrounding it. This festival will be accompanied by music, thanks to four performers who will appear throughout the day:
10:15: The Jayplayers (Americana)
Noon: Shine Delphi (New Orleans-style jazz)
1:45 p.m.: Emmanuel Nsingani (West African world music)
3:30 p.m.: Hexbelt (Blues/Rock/Funk)
We’ll have our line of books and tote bags there. Even if you don’t plan on buying any books, come on out anyway! We love to talk to readers about what they’re excited about lately.
Both of these Hershey festivals feature local and regional crafts and artworks and good food and drink. So come out and experience the fun!
