“Hell’s Casino” Resurrected on Amazon
A few years back, Lee Goldberg and William Rabkin created the Dead Man world and let a number of great writers play in their horror series. They were pretty nifty shockers, definitely R-rated, and I enjoyed them a lot.
When Kindle Worlds opened, they let other writers join in, and I contributed “Hell’s Casino.” I set it on City Island in Harrisburg and based it on the local casino north of Hershey. I even visited it at 2 in the morning after getting off work and wandered about, taking in the sights.
Do you know a casino in the middle of PA can be crowded at 2 a.m. on a Wednesday night?
Anyway, I had a blast writing in the series, and I’m even more thrilled that, when Amazon closed Kindle Worlds, Lee Goldberg picked up our stories, gave them new covers, and put them on Amazon!
