Agatha Christie, She Watched Ep23 “The ABC Murders” (2018)

A new episode dropped in our “Agatha Christie, She Watched” podcast: The ABC Murders!

This week, we’re talking about traveling salesmen, boarding houses with benefits, murder parties and dangerous backgammon. Teresa and Bill Peschel from Peschel Press discuss the 2018 movie “The ABC Murders,” starring John Malkovich as Hercule Poirot.

This is a Poirot you’ve never seen before. He’s been revealed as a fraud (but the public doesn’t know about it), he’s doing murder parties for the wealthy, and he has a secret past that is sloooooowly shown through the same flashback. Repeatedly.

(Note: We saw the three episode show in one night, so we realize we were a bit too harsh about that.)

Anyway, it’s available on YouTube’s Peschel Press channel, iTunes, Spotify, and at Amazon podcasts. Links to all these sites.
