Agatha Christie, She Watched Ep22 “The Witness for the Prosecution” (2016)

A new episode dropped in our “Agatha Christie, She Watched” podcast: The Witness for the Prosecution!

This week, we’re talking about industrial fog, police brutality, old women and young lovers, and a bloodstained pussycat. Teresa and Bill Peschel from Peschel Press discuss the 2016 movie “The Witness for the Prosecution,” starring Toby Jones and Kim Cattrall.

Teresa and I liked the movie, but be warned: It’s based on the original short story, not the Billy Wilder movie. That means there’s no happy ending, and because it’s a Sarah Phelps script, there’s a lot of grimness involved.

Animal lovers take note: There also a drowned cat!

Available on YouTube’s Peschel Press channel, iTunes, Spotify, and at Amazon podcasts. Links to all these sites.
