February 2022 — Here is an informal schedule of books coming from Peschel Press.
* The Complete, Annotated Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie and Bill Peschel. The capstone to the Agatha Christie Series! At this point, I have the novel edited and the first draft of footnotes. We also know what essays to include, so we’re looking forward to getting this out in APRIL 2022 in time for Malice Domestic.
* Vanished Pearls of Orloff Odessa Moon’s next book in the Steppes of Mars series. LATE APRIL 2022
* Ride of My Life by Bill Peschel. Set in the year 2000, Ted Prescott wins the choice of a million dollars or a ride on the space shuttle. When he takes the ticket, he has to battle his family (who thinks he’s nuts), fans (who want a piece of him), NASA (who wants him out), and the people behind a mysterious project that no one wants investigated. To take the ride of his life, he’ll have to learn a complex job, navigate relations with his fellow crew members, deal with a suspected secret agent, and learn to use a space toilet.
* Man Out of Time by Bill Peschel. Maxine Day knew what she wanted — a high-paying career, control of her life, and marriage to one of New York’s leading power brokers. Then Kit Marlowe drops in from the 16th century, and nothing will be the same for her.
* Murder, She Watched by Teresa Peschel. If you’ve been following along with our Instagram and Facebook pages, or visiting the movie page here, you already know about it. DECEMBER 2022.
* Kill Like Christie and Solve Like Sayers by Bill Peschel. Coming in the Career Indie Author series, a dictionary of the tropes great mystery writers like Sayers, Christie, Stout, Queen, Conan Doyle and others used to set up and solve their crimes. Written in TVTropes style, with references to the original stories and movie adaptations, “Kill Like Christie” will make it easy for you to stock your plot with the right combination of tropes guaranteed to mislead, enchant and mystify your readers.
